Recorded in the wake of mediocre sales of their previous release and during a haze of drug abuse, debts and band infighting, "Night in the Ruts" is seen as a crossroads album. But what of it? Is it a return to the blues rock we had expected from Aerosmith or is it a sign of the overly commercial mediocre material that was to come years later? Tune in and find out.
